6 Oct 2010

The University of Queensland Diamantina Institute (UQDI), has launched a new scholarship for prospective research students.

The UQDI has launched this scholarship to help make the UQDI more accessible for prospective research students.

The UQDI Visiting Scholarship is a program aimed at the recruitment of students looking at undertaking an honours program, or candidates looking at undertaking a PhD. Successful applicants will be interested in research undertaken at the Institute, including cancers, osteoporosis, arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.

Successful applicants will be provided with funding to visit the UQDI for individual meetings with prominent resident researchers, networking and exploring the cutting-edge facilities available in the Institute.

It is hoped that the Scholarship will provide prospective research students that reside regionally and interstate with a unique opportunity to experience UQDI research.
